Fiona Stewart
Unpacking human nature, one story at a time
Fiona Stewart brings her deep understanding of human behaviour and organisational dynamics to her writing, weaving imagination and insight into stories that invite readers to explore not just what is, but what could be.
Fiona Stewart is a recognised specialist in the field of Organisational Development, consulting to large, complex organisations in Australia and globally. Informed by her post-graduate studies in the psychodynamics of organisations she is sensitively attuned to the latent processes that drive human behaviour in individuals, groups and society.
While on sabbatical from consultancy in 2019, Fiona re-discovered her childhood joy of writing as a vehicle for self-expression. With a lively imagination and curiosity about the role of emerging technologies in our future, Fiona extrapolates from ‘what is’ and challenges us to think about ‘what could be’.
Fiona lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband, twin teenage daughters and Labrador, Harley who is never too far from her feet. She delights in a quiet moment with a properly brewed cup of tea, appreciating the beauty of her suburban garden.
The Day I Was Born is her first novel.
